As indianacarnie mentioned, you can also try the ASUS Update utility to see if it can help you install the correct camera driver, but I never use it myself and am not sure how well this will work.Īnyway, we should be able to solve this, so let us know if you are still running into any problems. You can check the filelist.txt to see if the camera driver versions are any different or older than the website, but if you copy the entire folder to a USB drive or burn to a DVD, you can run the InstAll.exe file to see if it gives you a menu to automatically detect and install the correct camera driver for you (as well as all the other drivers).Ĥ. If you have the original ASUS image (on your 'other' hard drive?), check under the C: drive for the 'eSupport'/'eDriver' folder which contains an (older?) copy of the G73Jh driver disk. Not sure how well this will work, but if you have another hard drive with the correct camera driver installed, check the properties/driver tab for the version and any clues to determine if you are using the Chicony_CNF_7129 V061.005.200.270, Chicony_CNF_7246 V061.005.200.270, or Suyin V6.5853.22.014 camera driver posted on the G73Jh download site.ģ.

The G73Jh camera driver downloads includes a link for a pretty good FAQ that you need to copy and paste which tells you how to check your unknown camera PID and match it up with 1 of those 3 camera drivers posted. One of those 3 camera drivers posted under the G73Jh downloads should be the correct driver, so we just need to find the right one.ġ. Below are probably too many suggestions since option #1 should be good enough.
